Bizet - Hagua Arega Rural Road Project
The Bizet - Hagua Arega Rural Road Project is a vital infrastructure development initiative designed to construct and upgrade approximately ~ 7 kilometers of all-weather road connecting Bizet town to Hagua Arega village. The project aims to improve accessibility, promote economic activity, and enhance the quality of life for communities along the corridor. Key components of the project include: Roadbed preparation and earthworks to ensure a stable and durable foundation. Construction of gravel or paved surfacing for year-round passability. Installation of drainage structures such as culverts and side ditches to mitigate erosion and flooding risks. Erection of safety signage and protective structures where necessary. The improved road will facilitate easier movement of people and goods, expand access to health services, education, and markets, and strengthen the socio-economic ties between Bizet and surrounding rural settlements. This project underscores the commitment to sustainable rural development and poverty reduction through better infrastructure connectivity.

This project aims to design, install, and commission a reliable solar energy power system to supply clean, uninterrupted electricity to Bizet Primary Hospital. The initiative will address frequent power outages and high operational costs by harnessing renewable solar energy to support critical hospital functions, including lighting, medical equipment, laboratory services, refrigeration for vaccines and medicines, and administrative operations. The project will include: Installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels sized to meet the hospital’s energy demands. Battery storage systems to ensure power availability during nighttime and cloudy conditions. An intelligent energy management system for optimal load distribution and monitoring. Training for hospital staff on system operation and basic maintenance. By implementing this sustainable energy solution, Bizet Primary Hospital will improve patient care, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance its resilience to grid power disruptions.
